We have green stems pushing up from the bulbs in front of the house but no blooms, The African Violets inside are blooming bright. The flowers outside are still a promise.

How important are promises, anyway? May flowers after April showers. Day follows night. Till death do us part. I will be God to you and to your children after you. It's a deal. I will be there for you. I have your back. You can never lose my love.

It has been said that kept promises are the glue that holds the universe together.
