A wish, a prayer, and sometimes I just don't know.
I understand some of the things I desire for myself, for you, for my family, for my world, but other parts are so deep, so close to the core of my being that I don't know how to form them into the words of my prayers. The words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the church in Rome comfort me.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. (Romans 8:26, 27)
Pray from the heart and don't worry overmuch about getting it all right. For in the darkness we are not alone.
This much I do know; I pray for you peace.
The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:22, 23)
The photo is from a while back. It seemed to fit.

I think this was the first print I did at Community Darkroom. The shot has rather grown on me.
