Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells, and cockle shells,
And pretty maids all in a row.

I'm not much of a real dirt gardener. If it's more complicated than spreading grass seed you'd best ask someone else.
When I think of planting seeds I think of other things.
I think of Amanda planting seeds with her daily writing prompts, and I give thanks.
I think of New Seeds of Contemplation by Thomas Merton, and I give thanks.
I think of Corky, who actually is a reasonably good gardener, and I give thanks.
I think of the seeds of love that so many have planted in my heart, and I give thanks.
I pray the seeds you and I have planted today may prove fruitful, that we may give thanks together.
Amen.
