No firedrakes here, and it's the creeks that were doing most of the roaring, but you get the general idea. It wasn't too bad right around us; I did have to detour around one washout on the way to work but still made it in on time. Some of the communities to our south east, however, got close to a foot of rain over the course of the past several days and serious damage from flash flooding.

More like the biblical dragon spewing water like a river out of its mouth. A dragon roar, indeed.
