As dead flies give perfume a bad smell,
so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.

So says the Preacher in Ecclesiastes. It's not hard to catch the scent of what he's talking about.

Or, contrariwise, as Paul says in his letter to the church in Corinth,

For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?

What do you smell like? Can others catch the scent of God's love in your life?
