Usually the day's prompt gets me thinking about what to write. Then I go looking for a photo to go with the writing. This time I didn't have a clue about what to write until I went looking at the photos I had worked up but not yet posted.
I found this one of Bruce's big sister, Nancy, and her family plus a niece and her little one. Folks don't come much finer. And that's something to sing out to the world.
Once Nancy and I discovered that she and Corky and I were all 1950 models the deal was sealed. Corky and I are honorary members of the Funk clan. What a delightful, zany crew.
This is one of only a couple people photos from the trip that came out reasonably well. The ground-glass focusing screen on the Yashica had gotten out of place in the process of my taking the top off the camera for cleaning prior to the trip. As a result, the focus was way off on most of my indoor photos. I just took the camera apart again this afternoon and fixed it.
