Plans just got soft again. The insurance company apparently wants additional information before approving the MRI that was scheduled for tomorrow. Given the holidays, that probably pushes it into January. I'm following up with the surgeon's office.

Dear God, I do not like uncertainty and waiting.

Some sorts of softness are wonderfully comfortable; waiting with back problems most assuredly is not. On the other hand, there is nothing to do be gained by fretting about it. Neither this nor anything else is able to separate me from the love of God. And that is what finally matters.
